Barbara Wallner

Barbara has over twenty years of diverse business experience in the banking and real estate industries.

Prior to joining VSR Advisors, Barbara was a Vice President of Salovey & Associates, a retained executive search firm, where she recruited for a variety of positions in the real estate industry in major cities nationwide.

She is also a Human Resources Consultant to Artemis Real Estate Partners, among the first majority women-owned private equity real estate firms. As a Consultant, she advises on people strategy, provides search support for talent (Principals, Associates, Analysts and C-Suite Admin) to assess fit and skill set, and follows up after employment to ensure the integration is working effectively.

Barbara began her career in banking at Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank) in the Middle Market Leveraged Buyout Group, and is a former President of her co-op where she oversaw renovation policy and capital improvements. She has served on various educational boards and fundraised for multiple organizations. She is a board member of Young Playwrights Inc. Barbara holds a BA from Syracuse University.
